Job summary

Kintegra Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative Float to support multiple clinics in the Hickory area. The role requires one year of clerical experience in a medical office, strong confidentiality, and excellent communication skills.

You will schedule appointments, assist patients with financial information, and manage records across several counties. Travel between clinics in Caldwell, Catawba, Iredell, Davie and Lincoln counties is required.

Qualifications

• One year of clerical experience in a medical office setting required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and communicate with all levels of personnel.
• Knowledge of medical office software for updating patient demographics, posting charges and copays.
• Excellent verbal communication; able to work with changing priorities and maintain organization.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet patients; interact with diverse cultures and levels of authority.
• Schedule patient appointments under administrative guidelines.
• Explain policies and procedures to patients and staff.
• Interview patients to obtain personal and financial information.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and handle PHI with care.
• Query patient records and extract medical records as needed.
• Scan documents into patient charts in a timely manner.
• Perform accurate cash management and transaction procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned
