Orthopedic One is seeking a full-time Medical Office Receptionist to greet patients, check in for appointments, and handle scheduling in a fast-paced outpatient clinic. The role requires strong customer service, solid computer skills, and familiarity with EHR systems.

Responsibilities include collecting demographics and insurance information, handling co-pays, and coordinating with clinicians and staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely appointment management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Customer service experience and excellent communication skills required.
• Basic computer skills required, preferably in a Windows environment, with medical management or other scheduling system experience.
• Medical terminology or other previous medical office experience desirable.
• Must maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in a prompt, polite and helpful manner and directs them within the clinic.
• Accurately checks patients in and updates status in EHR; collects demographic and insurance information.
• Prints schedules and prepares patient information for upcoming appointments.
• Collects co-payments and balances daily deposits as per department procedure.
• Answers calls to schedule or cancel appointments and triage patient inquiries.
