Job summary

PromptCare, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to support our infusion and benefit verification workflows. You will manage EMR notes, payer communications, and authorizations while coordinating with patients, physician offices, and the sales team.

The ideal candidate has healthcare exposure, strong communication skills, and experience with CPR+ or Caretend; a high school diploma is required and a healthcare degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a healthcare or business degree is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication with staff, patients, and physician offices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CPR+ and Caretend experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Experience with infusion therapy patients desirable.
• Ability to identify and address problematic accounts.

Responsibilities

• Benefit verifications for insurance changes, therapy changes and dose changes.
• New / reauthorizations for insurance changes under existing plans.
• New / reauthorizations for drug or dose changes under existing plans.
• Update payer information and entries in CPR/Caretend.
• Update existing orders to show correct payor in CPR/Caretend.
• Monthly verifications of information and status.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, payer portals, and data entry systems.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Infusion or DME background is preferred.
• Clinical or medical office administrative experience is preferred.
• Coordinate internal email communication with other departments.
• Attend to urgent or same-day requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
