Job summary

The PromptCare Companies, Inc. in New Providence, NJ is seeking a skilled Home Infusion Pharmacist to join our team. You will review charts, coordinate with physicians and nurses, supervise technicians, and support infusion therapy services across our patient caseload.

This full-time role offers weekday hours, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and opportunities to grow in a specialized infusion therapy environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Doctor of Pharmacy degree is required or Registered pharmacist license if foreign graduate
• Active registered pharmacy license in New Jersey
• 1 year hospital and home infusion therapy experience preferred
• Two years of recent clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Thorough knowledge of infusion therapies preferred
• Recent inventory management experience preferred
• Accurate mathematical dosing and pharmacokinetic calculations
• Knowledge of CPR+ software preferred

Responsibilities

• Participating in patient evaluation and chart review for acceptance, product selection, device selection and supply management
• Collect, interpret, and evaluate physician medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness, cost effectiveness, accuracy, safety and completeness
• Monitor patient progress and communicate clinical data with physicians and the healthcare team
• Directly supervise pharmacy technicians in compounding, packaging, and labeling of compounded sterile products
• Assist in training and orientation of new employees and performance improvement activities
• Go into IV room and mix medications if needed
• Other duties assigned
