Easterseals PORT Health in Washington, NC seeks a Full-Time Behavioral Health Direct Care Technician for our facility-based crisis center. You will work Monday–Friday, 4pm–12am, with every other weekend, and earn $16.82 per hour in a supportive, professional team focused on compassionate care.

Qualifikationen

• Entry-level, on-the-job training is provided.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Peer support certification or CNA certification is a plus, but not required.
• Maintain valid state driver’s license and auto insurance for work vehicles.

• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment while providing client support and motivation.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups, therapeutic activities, and leisure/recreational programming.
• Transport clients to program activities and appointments as needed.
• Assist with admissions, referrals, documentation, and coordination with community agencies and treatment teams.
• Support discharge planning, aftercare arrangements, and housing resources.
• Administer medications (when certified), monitor vital signs, respond to emergencies, and maintain client records.
