Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Coordinator) to greet patients, collect insurance data, and manage forms and payments. You will schedule appointments, maintain EMR records, and ensure PHI privacy in a fast-paced clinic environment.

The role emphasizes patient support, adherence to UVVC core values, and collaboration with physicians and staff across our Texas clinics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical assisting or administration.
• Familiarity with ECW is a plus.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival, sign them in and collect insurance information.
• Provide intake and new patient forms, and share office policies and documents.
• Process payments for co-pays and uninsured visits.
• Schedule appointments for new and returning patients.
• Maintain hard copy and EMR patient records.
• Audit schedules for insurance eligibility.
• Offer patient support and guidance as needed.
• Uphold UVVC core values and conduct standards.
• Protect PHI per HIPAA and UVVC policies; handle other duties as assigned.
