Job summary

SunState Medical Specialists (SMS), part of OneOncology, is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to deliver exceptional administrative support in a busy cancer care center in Florida. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, handle billing inquiries, manage patient records, and coordinate with physicians and staff while maintaining privacy standards.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred and flexibility to travel to other centers may be required.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience in a busy, customer-focused environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level patient service, responding to queries and directing flow.
• Schedule physician appointments and manage patient records with accuracy.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, referrals, and document management.
• Maintain waiting room appearance and ensure privacy compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and admin staff; support billing inquiries.
