Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience or may be trained by a designee of the DON.
• Understands use of equipment and standard hospital procedures.

Responsibilities

• Respond to intercom requests to assist patients.
• Relate calls to nurses, physicians, and other staff.
• Welcome visitors and provide directions and inquiries.
• Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Support unit operations by following policies and reporting changes.
