Salary Range: $18.29-$24.00 per hour
Pay is based on factors such as education, experience, and certifications. High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years of office experience, preferably in a medical setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, is preferred.
All candidates must pass a background check and a non-federal drug test (excluding marijuana) after the offer and before employment.
This role requires sitting for extended periods, occasional stooping, bending, and stretching to handle files and supplies. Employees must be present during scheduled hours, capable of sitting or standing, and communicating effectively. Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination are necessary for computer work. Occasionally, lifting up to 30 pounds may be required. Corrected vision and hearing are necessary for phone and computer tasks.
The environment may involve exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, radiation, and medical preparations typical of an oncology/hematology clinic. The role involves in-person interactions with staff and patients and may require minimal travel to different office sites.
