Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group in Hartford is seeking a Medical Receptionist / Business Services Rep to join the Women’s Health team. This role ensures patient flow by greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, registering patients, verifying insurance, handling copays, and processing prior authorizations and referrals.

Day shift position with benefits starting day one and a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing preferred.
• Strong keyboard skills and proficiency with Windows and MS Office; accuracy and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and identify department, in person or by phone.
• Answer phones in a courteous, professional manner using scripts.
• Schedule appointments and register patients per department protocols.
• Process insurance verification, copays, pre-certifications, referrals and chart prep.
