Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) for our Physician Office in the Tri-County Primary Care region. The role focuses on patient registration, demographics verification, insurance card collection, and patient identification, with responsibilities to schedule appointments and manage records efficiently.

As the first point of contact, you will ensure exceptional customer service, assist with referrals, and support MyChart-based scheduling while maintaining accurate data

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in patient registration/healthcare is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Schedule patients, verify demographics, and enter information accurately in the system.
• Assist with insurance verification and pre-certifications when applicable.
• Support referral scheduling and online scheduling tools (MyChart).
