Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical clerical experience preferred in a hospital, physician practice, clinic, nursing home or insurance agency.

Responsibilities

• Obtains all critical demographic and financial information and inputs data into EMR and other systems.
• Answers and relays incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls with routine instructions for patients.
• Provides general clerical support, scheduling appointments and coordinating with clinical services.
• Collects cash receipts and performs daily deposits, ensuring cash drawer is balanced.
• Maintains clinic order and cleanliness and performs housekeeping duties as assigned.
