The Patient Services Associate (PSA) II enhances the patient/customer experience by courteously and professionally processing arrival and departure activities associated with visits to the practice/department. The role involves obtaining pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures, verifying insurance, referrals, and patient demographic information. The PSA II supports the delivery of the Jefferson Experience by emphasizing prompt and courteous treatment of all patients and visitors to ensure an efficient flow of patients to examination rooms.
Job Description
