Office Location: 1665 Bustleton Pike, Feasterville-Trevose, PA
The Patient Services Associate (PSA) II enhances the patient/customer experience by courteously and professionally processing arrival and departure activities associated with visits to the practice/department. Responsibilities include obtaining pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures, verifying insurance, referrals, and patient demographic information. The PSA II supports the delivery of the Jefferson Experience by emphasizing prompt and courteous treatment of all patients and visitors to maintain an efficient flow of patients to examination rooms. Other duties include processing check-in and check-out, point of service activities, scheduling patient appointments via EPIC, maintaining practice flow, and escalating concerns as appropriate. The role involves greeting and interacting with patients/visitors professionally, both in person and over the phone, and adhering to HIPAA privacy and security requirements, along with compliance with all applicable regulations.
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Customer service and/or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred.
