Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative for Mason Primary Care to be the first point of contact for patients and the community. The role involves registration, verifying demographics and insurance, scheduling visits, and guiding patients through financial options with care and courtesy.

You will handle referrals, assist with MyChart, process payments, and support other locations as needed to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior registration/healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between patients and physician practices.
• Provide excellent customer service and greet patients and the community respectfully.
• Schedule appointments and enter necessary information for scheduling into the system.
• Process patient registration, verify demographics and insurance details.
• Assist with patient payments and reconcile cash at end of day.
• Support referrals, MyChart scheduling and follow-up appointments as needed.
