Job summary

Eye Associates of Vineland, part of Prism Vision Group, is seeking a Patient Service Representative for an onsite, non-exempt role. You will handle inbound and outbound patient interactions, scheduling, and daily workflows including registrations, billing support, and HIPAA compliance.

This position offers a compensation range of $18–$31.89 per hour, with responsibilities spanning appointment registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, and coordination between patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in patient-facing healthcare or customer service preferred.
• Excellent English communication; bilingual a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete patient registrations and appointments with attention to policy.
• Complete pre-registration and verify demographics and insurance information.
• Verify benefits and insurance referrals where applicable.
• Collect legal ID and insurance cards, confirm patient identity and coverage.
• Adhere to HIPAA standards for privacy and confidentiality.
• Facilitate smooth patient flow through the clinical care process.
• Provide appointment and payment policy information to patients.
