Job summary

Apria Healthcare is seeking a Patient Service Technician to deliver and pick up homecare equipment, ensuring proper setup and patient instruction. This role requires a valid driver's license, at least one year of related experience, and a minimum three-year driving history.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily routes, maintaining vehicle logs, and complying with regulatory requirements. Occasional on‑call deliveries and potential equipment maintenance or repairs are involved.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one‑year related work experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and picks up equipment from homecare patients. Sets up equipment and instructs patients on the basic use of equipment.
• Schedules and organizes daily deliveries and pickups according to geographic territory.
• Loads and unloads durable medical or infusion equipment, oxygen and medical supplies onto delivery vehicle.
• Complies with regulatory requirements including driver qualification file docs and hours of service, etc.
• Notifies supervisor if home conditions are unsafe for care or there are safety concerns.
• Maintains daily vehicle maintenance logs and ensures vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Responds to emergency delivery calls as needed and on‑call basis.
• May perform cleaning or repair of equipment.
