Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to Apria patients in the home. The role involves loading and delivering equipment, instructing patients, and maintaining patient profiles.

The job requires at least a high school diploma, 1 year of related experience, and a valid driver's license with a minimum of three years driving history. This position is for home-based service with daily on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up medications, supplies, and basic equipment to Apria patients at home.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory and other equipment.
• Load and unload equipment on delivery vehicle.
• Complete paperwork including daily delivery logs and maintenance logs.
• Maintain patient profiles and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Notify supervisor of unsafe home conditions.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report malfunctions.
• May assist with repair of equipment.
