Job summary

Apria Healthcare is seeking a Patient Service Technician to deliver and pick up equipment from homecare patients. You will schedule daily deliveries and pickups across your geographic territory, maintain vehicle logs, and ensure equipment is set up and explained to patients.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1 year of related experience, and a valid driver’s license with a minimum 3-year driving history. Safety and regulatory compliance are essential components of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year related work experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have minimum 3 years driving history.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and picks up equipment from homecare patients; sets up equipment and instructs patients on basic use.
• Schedules and organizes daily deliveries and pickups by geographic territory.
• Maintains daily vehicle maintenance logs and ensures vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Complies with regulatory requirements including driver qualification file documentation and hours of service, logs, hazmat and vehicle inspection.
• Completes paperwork such as delivery logs, pickup forms, reimbursement documents and maintenance logs.
• Notifies supervisor of unsafe home environments or patient safety concerns.
• Responds to emergency delivery calls on-call as needed.
• Performs routine vehicle maintenance and reports malfunctions to supervisor.
