Job summary

Home Medical Products, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver to support patients with equipment delivery, setup, and service throughout the workday.

You will educate patients and caregivers on proper use and safety, coordinate with branch staff to complete orders, maintain route documentation, and ensure vehicles and assets are kept clean and organized. This role requires a valid state driver’s license with a good driving record, the ability to lift up to 150 lbs, on-call duties, and a commitment to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of delivery experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Must have a valid, state-issued driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Able to lift up to 150 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive for a significant portion of the day with frequent stops to deliver/set-up, service and exchange orders; coordinate with branch staff and with the patient.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper use, care, and safety of equipment.
• Provide daily account or reconciliation of activities and assets, including route sheets and manifest reconciliations.
• Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours, including nights and/or weekends.
• Process all orders in a timely and accurate manner with the appropriate paperwork completed.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures and comply with regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure asset control and tagging.
