Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join our Houtzdale center. You will greet patients, register them on arrival, and guide them through their visit while coordinating next appointments.

This role also involves handling payments, coordinating with insurers, and supporting multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. As a full-time position, you’ll benefit from mentorship, generous PTO, a comprehensive medical/dental/vision plan, and company‑matched 401(k) retirement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Insurance verification experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Communicate with attorney offices, insurance providers, translation services, and internal teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and perform insurance authorizations and verifications.
