Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Patient Service Rep to handle pre-registrations, registrations, and charge capture across inpatient, outpatient, ER and same-day surgery settings. You will gather demographic and insurance data, verify eligibility and medical necessity coding, and assist patients with payment options.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, and 2 years in healthcare customer service, registration or cash handling, with strong data-entry and bilingual skills.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Associates Degree in Business Administration/Management preferred.
• 2 years of registration, scheduling, patient accounts, cash collections or customer service experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-registrations, registrations, order management, charge capture, cash collection for in-patient, out-patient, ER and same day surgery patients.
• Collect and verify demographic, insurance/financial and clinical data from multiple sources; ensure third-party eligibility and medical necessity coding for payment.
• Interact with patients and families to explain revenue cycle expectations and payment options.
