Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of medical office or customer service experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Medical terminology and insurance billing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Register patients by verifying demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform basic front desk duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
