Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for our Palmer, AK outpatient physical therapy centers. This full-time role at 9am-5pm involves greeting patients, registering them, and guiding them through the visit process as they check out.

You will schedule appointments, coordinate with attorneys, insurers, translators, and leadership, and handle co-pays and insurance verifications to keep the center running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• 1 year medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and explain visit flow.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Communicate with attorneys, insurers, translators, and leaders.
• Collect co-pays and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
