Select Medical in Missouri seeks a Patient Service Specialist to greet, register, and assist patients at the front desk. This float role supports multiple locations within the St. Louis area, requiring strong customer service, scheduling, and payer communication.

As a full-time team member, you will handle patient check-out, collect co-pays, schedule appointments, and coordinate with insurers. The role offers mentorship, PTO, comprehensive health benefits, and a company-matching 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Position: Patient Service Specialist- Float/SPLIT Position 20 Hours Floating

Location: New Ballas- Floating into St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Jefferson County, Warren County, St. Charles County. Illinois counties include Monroe, Madison, and St. Clair County.

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: 40 Hours- Must have flexibility between the hours of 7A-7P, Monday- Friday.

Compensation: $19/ hour- increases based on experience

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Minimum

• High School Diploma or GED
