RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team and support front office operations across patient-facing services. You will handle front desk duties, medical records coordination, and technologist support while maintaining patient-centered care and HIPAA compliance.

The role includes coordinating with patients, families, and staff to ensure accurate registrations, clear instructions, and efficient appointment flow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or equivalent.
• One year of applicable customer service experience.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
• Typing proficiency and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as initial contact for patients and visitors at the front desk.
• Register patients, collect payments, and verify demographic information.
• Inform patients about delays and follow up to resolve inquiries or complaints.
• Answer inquiries and direct issues to the supervisor or manager as needed.
• Utilize EHR/HER systems to update patient information and documents.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth appointment scheduling and flow.
• Maintain reception areas and ensure PHI confidentiality per HIPAA.
