Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Front Office Associate to join our team. You will greet and register patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist referring professionals in a cheerful, professional manner.

Essential duties include registration, scheduling, and insurance tasks, verifying coverage, pre-certifying exams, obtaining authorizations, and assisting with referrals as needed. We provide a supportive environment focused on patient care and service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of Customer Service experience.
• Proficient in using computer systems and typing.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Greet and checks-in patients scheduled for imaging services; processes payments and copays as needed.
• Answer phones and handles calls in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Act as liaison between imaging technologists and the patients waiting for exams, and relays messages regarding scanner status and other Clinic information.
• Register patients and provide preparation instructions; fax/scan reports and billing information as requested.
• Maintain lobby organization and assist with general office cleanup; order office supplies as needed.
