Job summary

RadNet in Nutley, NJ is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and schedule appointments in a fast-paced radiology office.

You will coordinate with back-office staff, safeguard patient information, and deliver world-class customer service while upholding company policies and regulatory requirements. High school diploma required; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information; collect signatures and ensure documentation is complete.
• Collect co-pays and fees and log them accurately.
• Answer/transfer incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Provide prep and safety protocol orientations and directions to facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient information and property and adhere to privacy policies.
• Handle medications on site per policy and maintain professional conduct.
• Maintain respectful interactions with patients and coworkers; respect boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
