Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information; collect signatures and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collect and log co-pays and fees.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Provide patient orientation for safety protocols and facility directions.
• Coordinate with back-office staff to ensure timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient information and property; handle PHI securely.
• Maintain confidentiality of on-site medications and patient data.
• Exhibit professional behavior toward patients and coworkers at all times.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in interactions.
• Engage diplomatically with patients and their families to maintain cooperation.
