We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Patient Service & Scheduling Representative to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for patients, handling high-volume inbound and outbound communications with empathy and accuracy. You will manage patient appointments using EPIC (HealthConnect), capture accurate messages, and resolve inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced medical office setting.

Position Type: Contract Opportunity (6-Month Initial Term; Potential for Extension or Conversion to FTE)

Pay Rate: $25.00 / hr

Key Responsibilities

• Call Handling & Service: Manage inbound patient inquiries and place outbound calls regarding account status, complaints, and follow-ups, directing calls for further resolution when needed.
• Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently schedule and update patient appointments in EPIC (HealthConnect).
• Information Capture: Accurately log detailed notes and create complete messages for clinical and administrative staff.
• Research & Problem Resolution: Research patient inquiries and account details to provide clear, accurate responses.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in a call center, appointment scheduling, or professional office setting (demonstrated tenure/job stability preferred).
• Technical Skills: Experience with EPIC (HealthConnect) and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint); typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
