Job summary

Texas MedClinic is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative to join our supportive team and help deliver patient-centered care. You’ll greet patients, check them in for appointments, scan documents, assist with registration, and manage copayments with accurate cash handling.

We value clear communication, confidentiality, and compassionate service. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year in customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with people from all backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly, supportive manner
• Check patients in for appointments and scan documents into charts
• Assist with registration forms and distribute medical records
• Collect and post copayments and outstanding balances; balance cash drawer daily
• Inform patients of care costs and collect required fees
• Assess walk-in traffic for potential emergencies
• Communicate patient needs to clinical staff
• Answer phones professionally and route calls appropriately
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Keep reception and waiting areas clean and sanitized
• Provide coverage for medical records and prior authorizations as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation: Pay is based on experience, skills, and internal equity and falls within an established range.
