Job summary

Community Care Partners is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, check them in for appointments, scan documents, assist with registrations, and collect copays in a friendly, patient‑centered environment.

You will balance cash drawers daily, maintain confidentiality, answer phones professionally, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth, compassionate care for diverse patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with people from all backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly, supportive manner.
• Check patients in for appointments and scan documents into charts.
• Assist with registration forms and distribute medical records.
• Collect and post copayments and balances; balance cash drawer daily.
• Inform patients of care costs and collect required fees.
• Assess walk-in traffic for potential emergencies.
• Communicate patient needs to clinical staff.
• Answer phones professionally and route calls appropriately.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Keep reception and waiting areas clean and sanitized.
• Provide coverage for medical records and prior authorizations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
