Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to manage front desk duties at 130 S Main Street, Lombard, IL and 1200 S York Street, Elmhurst, IL. This full-time role requires greeting patients, scheduling, and EPIC registration, with travel to off-site locations as needed.

The position entails processing charges and payments, interpreting benefits, and supporting clinic operations. Bilingual Spanish helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Keyboard and computer skills required.
• A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location.
• If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, evidence of automobile liability coverage may be requested.

Responsabilités

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides front desk coverage.
• Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in EPIC, schedules tests, verifies insurance eligibility and interprets benefits.
• Processes patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, calculating adjustments, and recording payments.
• Clinic set-up and other office support.

Hourly Pay Range

$18.76 - $27.20 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Position: Patient Service Representative (PSR)

Location: 130 S Main Street, Lombard, IL and 1200 S York Street, Elmhurst, IL

Full Time: 40 hours a week

Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Schedule varies between Office Hours.

Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides front desk coverage.
• Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in EPIC, schedules laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests requested by physician, verifies insurance eligibility and interprets covered benefits.
• Processes patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, calculating adjustments, and receiving and recording payments in computer system.
• Clinic set-up and other office support.

What you will need

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Keyboard and computer skills.
• A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location.
• If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.
• Preferred: A minimum of three months previous business office OR healthcare based experience.
• Preferred: Previous insurance, managed care, and integrative medicine experience.
• Preferred: Medical terminology or coding experience.
• Preferred: Bilingual Spanish helpful, but not required.
