Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) for Ortho in Lombard/Elmhurst, IL. This full-time role supports front desk activities, answers calls, schedules appointments, and registers patients in EPIC.

You'll verify insurance, schedule labs and tests, process charges, and assist with clinic setup. Travel to other locations may be required, and we offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong keyboard and computer skills.
• Valid driver's license required for off-site duties.
• Preferred: healthcare office experience and medical terminology knowledge.
• Bilingual Spanish helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, schedule appointments, greet patients, and register new patients in EPIC.
• Schedule labs and off-site tests as ordered by physician.
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain benefits.
• Process charges, payments, and adjustments in the system.
• Clinic setup and general office support.

Hourly Pay Range:$18.76 - $27.20 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Position: Patient Service Representative (PSR) - OrthoLocation: 130 S Main Street, Lombard, IL and 1200 S York Street, Elmhurst, ILFull Time: 40 hours a weekOffice Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Schedule varies between Office Hours.Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needsWhat you will do:Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides front desk coverage. Answers incoming calls, schedules appointments, greets patients, registers new patients in EPIC, schedules laboratory and off-site diagnostic tests requested by physician, verifies insurance eligibility and interprets covered benefits. Processes patient charges by totaling fees, applying insurance coverage, calculating adjustments, and receiving and recording payments in computer system. Clinic set-up and other office support.What you will need:High School Diploma or GED requiredKeyboard and computer skillsA valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location.
