Job summary

Wake Radiology is seeking a Patient Services Representative for our Cary imaging center. The role includes front desk support, patient check-in, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The position is full-time with additional weekend part-time hours available. Ideal candidates have medical office experience, strong customer service, and solid data-entry skills to ensure accurate patient records and efficient scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of two years of medical office experience preferred (radiology experience is a plus).
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Strong computer and data entry skills; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
• Register patients, verify demographics, and assist with the check-in process.
• Answer questions and guide patients through their visit.
• Verify insurance eligibility.
• Coordinate referrals and maintain accurate patient records.
• Enter patient information accurately into our electronic systems.
• Prepare daily schedules and make appointment reminder calls.
• Ensure all authorizations and required documentation are completed before scheduled appointments.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Patient Services Representative (Full-Time, Cary location) & and part-time weekend positions available!

Are you someone who enjoys variety, meeting new people, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment? Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare is seeking a Full-Time Patient Services Representative to provide front desk and administrative support at our imaging center located in Cary. This position will be Monday-Friday 8:30-5p. (We also have weekend p-t hours available).

What You'll Do

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
