Come join our team! We are hiring! We are currently hiring a Patient Service Representative in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time position that does not require working late nights, weekends, or holidays.

We support our mission to improve health and quality of life through culturally competent services addressing community needs. We serve roughly 16,000 patients annually, mostly low-income, and do not turn anyone away based on insurance or ability to pay.

Our services include family medicine, internal medicine, women’s health, urgent care, dental, radiology, and behavioral health, along with supportive services like case management and health education.

Position Summary

The Patient Service Representative (PSR) performs tasks early in the revenue cycle, impacting patient experience and revenue outcomes. Responsibilities include optimizing registration, appointment scheduling, supporting in-network referrals, greeting and assessing patients, data collection, patient education, and directing patient flow.

Essential Functions
  • Greet patients and visitors, respond to requests, answer calls, and take messages.
  • Register patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and update records.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments and cancellations.
  • Provide test preparation instructions and directional information.
  • Educate patients on services and campaigns.
  • Document interactions and provide feedback for follow-up.
  • Assist with patient enrollment and other clerical duties.
