Patient Service Representative I - Part Time-Remote- Local Massachusetts Residents Only - (125379)

This part-time position is seeking skilled call center candidates at our site in Post Office Square, MA. Applicants must reside in Massachusetts, have EPIC/registration system experience (please specify on your resume), and possess reliable high-speed home internet. The role is fully remote after approximately 2-6 weeks of training, depending on prior experience, and candidates should be located near our site for on-site training if needed. This is a great opportunity to grow within the call center field and make a positive impact on our patients within a supportive company.

Under direct supervision, the Patient Service Representative receives incoming calls and inquiries, assisting patients with appointment and care management. This role involves various support duties that facilitate interdisciplinary, coordinated care delivery, playing an integral role in patient support. The position requires delivering exceptional customer service and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills to enhance the patient/clinician relationship. Clear verbal and written communication skills are essential to improve patient access and understanding.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalency (e.g., GED, HiSET, TASC) from an accredited institution or governmental body required.
  • A bachelor’s degree or other non-clinical degree with an interest in healthcare is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical or customer service setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency with computers, including word processing and spreadsheet programs, is required.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and the aptitude to learn new EMR technology is required.
  • High-volume call center experience is preferred.
SKILLS
  • Professional and appropriate communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of patient-related documentation is a plus.
