The Patient Service Coordinator I coordinates with customers to schedule patient services efficiently. Exceeds customer expectations through superior service, demonstrating empathy, patience, and a positive attitude. Ensures clear communication about the scope of services, ongoing care, coverage, and financial responsibilities. Coordinates scheduling for existing patients to ensure continuity of care. Demonstrates effective communication skills to evaluate caller needs, provide solutions, and close requests.

Shift: Full Time, Day Shift, Weekends Included

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Post-high school education or training, preferred

Knowledge:

• Basic Computer Skills
• Basic medical terminology for homecare
• Customer service principles and expectations

Skills:

• Effective and professional communication with customers and referrals
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Multi-tasking and follow-through
• Call center experience, minimum 6 months
• Timeliness and prioritization
• Empathy, patience, positive attitude
• Time management and organization skills

Work Experience:

• 2 years customer service, preferred
• Experience in a medical environment and familiarity with durable medical equipment, preferred
• 2 years call center experience, preferred
