Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to manage the front desk during check-in and check-out, while learning insurance verification and patient education.

No optical experience is required; training and tools will be provided to help you deliver a best-in-class patient experience. You will answer multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, confirm appointments, and assist with office tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer-facing role.
• Organized, able to prioritise multiple tasks under pressure.
• Friendly, patient-centric, and a team player.
• Computer savvy with strong written and verbal communication.
• Willing to adapt and learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out experience that creates a timely, seamless, and positive experience.
• Verify and educate patients on insurance options during check in/out for appointments.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk-ins, schedule appointments and assist office staff duties as needed.
• Cross train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians (Varies by office needs).
• Collaborate with doctor(s) and team members to provide seamless patient experience.
