Job summary

Axia Women’s Health is hiring a Patient Services Representative in Voorhees, NJ. The PSR serves as the first and last point of contact, handling scheduling, check-ins, and patient inquiries with a focus on friendly, efficient service.

The role requires a high school diploma and a customer‑centric mindset; experience is preferred but not required. Benefits are offered for full-time staff, including medical and PTO options.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Receptionist/PSR experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner; direct them to the waiting area.
• Route phone calls and messages promptly; assist with scheduling and patient inquiries.
• Register new or existing patients and activate patient files.
• Collect copayments and verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Assist with scheduling patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient practice operations.
• Adhere to SOPs and HIPAA/OSHA requirements.
