Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for patient server roles at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital in Lake Forest, IL. These positions offer full-time and part-time schedules with rotating weekends and morning to afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities include delivering trays, menu assistance, and ensuring dietary restrictions are respected, while upholding sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced hospital dining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous food service and/or healthcare experience required.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Computer technical skills to operate hospital systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick-up.
• Ensure dietary restrictions are followed and accommodate special requests within diet orders.
• Assemble trays according to patients' menu selections.
• Interact with nursing staff to ensure diet prescriptions are accurate.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary working environment.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and safety procedures.
