OrthoAlaska, Orthopedic Physicians Alaska division, is hiring a Patient Scheduling Specialist (OPA–Wasilla) to join a patient-centered team. You will register and schedule patients, answer calls, and coordinate with providers to ensure timely, accurate appointments.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of customer service, a high school diploma, and experience with scheduling software or EHR systems; knowledge of insurance and billing is a plus in our fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Six (6) months of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: one year of customer service or six months of medical office experience.
• Knowledge of insurance and billing and scheduling software or EHR systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Promptly and professionally answer telephone calls.
• Use customer service principles to handle calls calmly and pleasantly.
• Register and schedule patients with providers based on company protocol.
• Collaborate with medical providers and staff to ensure best outcomes for patients.
