Amedisys is hiring a Patient Service Coordinator Scheduler to support scheduling for home health and hospice services in Tucson, AZ. The role involves arranging patient visits, coordinating clinicians, and ensuring visits occur on time in line with care plans.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of scheduling and administrative experience in healthcare, with strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of scheduling experience in a healthcare environment.
• One year of administrative experience in a health care environment.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures patient assessment visits including all Oasis visits are scheduled and performed timely.
• Ensures clinicians are assigned and scheduled efficiently across geography.
• Works with field clinicians to ensure all patient visits are scheduled and completed as ordered.
• Manages calls from patients and field staff related to scheduling issues.
• Refers clinical and performance related issues to the clinical manager.
