Job summary

Urology Specialists is seeking a Full-Time Scheduler to join our Scheduling Department. This role supports patients, providers, and health systems by coordinating outpatient diagnostic and surgical procedures in a fast-paced medical setting.

The successful candidate is a detail-oriented team player with strong communication skills. Healthcare experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person for this essential patient-facing position.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with patients, providers, and local health systems to schedule outpatient diagnostic and surgical procedures.
• Interpret physician orders and ensure proper scheduling and documentation
• Manage insurance authorizations for surgery, radiology, and medications
• Communicate with insurance carriers, referring offices, and internal departments
• Help ensure a smooth and efficient experience for every patient
