Job summary

Gastroenterology Associates, PC, part of One GI, is seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative to join our Manassas location at 8640 Sudley Road. This full-time role will support scheduling for office visits and procedures while ensuring records are accurate and aligned with physician preferences.

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, no nights or weekends. Requirements include a high school diploma and prior medical office experience; knowledge of medical terminology is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office setting is required or strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a bonus.
• Experience updating referrals, demographics, and insurance information.

Responsibilities

• Update referral, demographic, and insurance information in the practice management database.
• Schedule office and procedure visits per physician parameters.
• Update referral and recall entries in the practice management system.
• Decide on safe procedure preparation and scheduling based on physician preferences.
• Provide patients with necessary forms, literature, and instructions.
• Monitor wait lists and follow up on appointments.
