Job summary

Tampa Family Health Centers is seeking a Call Center Scheduling Coordinator in Tampa, FL to support our call center operations. You will manage inbound calls, schedule patient appointments, route messages, and ensure accurate documentation within the Electronic Health Record.

The ideal candidate delivers excellent customer service, communicates clearly, and helps patients feel supported and informed while adhering to HIPAA and TFHC policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in healthcare or a call center preferred.
• Experience with EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
• Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
• Enter and update patient demographic information in the EHR
• Route messages to the appropriate health centers, departments, and staff
• Provide high-quality customer service to patients, callers, and internal team members
• Follow call center procedures, workflows, and scripting guidelines
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure HIPAA and TFHC policies compliance
• Perform additional duties as assigned
