Job summary

Adelante Healthcare seeks an Associate Call Center Representative to assist patients by phone with scheduling and information requests, creating a caring and responsive environment and promoting an efficient appointment process.

You will handle telephonic scheduling, pre-registration, and data entry while maintaining accurate schedules and professional, patient-centered communication across the health centers.

Qualifications

• Up to one year of experience in the customer service field.
• Able to handle one to two levels of service.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Developing office skills: typing, faxing, scanning and telephone.
• Developing computer efficiency and MS Office familiarity.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Effective phone etiquette using caring communication for all openings and closing greetings.
• Schedule patient initial and follow up appointments ensuring efficient use of provider time.
• Perform patient pre-registration including accessing and updating patient information.
• Perform data entry and appointment confirmation.
• Maintain schedule accuracy for maximum patient flow.
• Answer and screen incoming appointment-related calls and direct to staff.
• Maintain communication with office staff and providers across health centers.
• Attend staff meetings and ensure punctuality.
