Job summary

LifeWorks Wellness Center seeks a detail-oriented Patient Scheduler to coordinate multiple treatments and appointments in a fast-paced, patient-centered office. You will learn each treatment program to organize schedules so patients arrive on time and receive full benefits.

The role requires at least 1 year in medical settings, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with EMR systems. Full-time, Mon-Fri, with employer-sponsored benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in the medical field.
• Proficient with medical terminology and admin processes.
• Strong MS Office skills and typing speed 40 wpm.
• Dependable, organized, and able to multi-task.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Prior scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient appointments and ensure proper orders are on file.
• Clarify and document treatment plans in the chart before scheduling.
• Answer patient questions related to scheduling.
• Schedule appointments to avoid delays and conflicts.
• Ensure patients understand and sign their scheduled plan.
