Responsibilities

• Accurately screens and schedules patients for Imaging Center with an interdisciplinary team focus.
• Greets patients on the phone and in-person in a warm, cheerful and professional manner.
• Answers phone in a timely, professional manner that meets department protocols.
• Obtains required information on patient’s insurance, authorizations and schedules appointments.
• Verifies referrals match physician orders.
• Checks EHR for accuracy and obtains additional information as needed.
• Sends letters to patients with pertinent information when unable to contact them.
• Performs other administrative tasks related to clinical services.
• Assists MRI Technologists as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
