Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous experience with medical scheduling and EMR systems preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
• Skills: Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Skills: Professional communication, verbal and written.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Desirable: Prior experience with call centers or BPO vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage provider schedules and ensure appointments are accurate and complete.
• Answer multi-line phone calls professionally; assess patient needs and transfer calls as needed.
• Schedule appointments; verify demographics and insurance; update medical history.
• Provide pre-appointment instructions and required documents or records.
• Verify insurance eligibility and maintain confidentiality per guidelines.
• Process faxes, update patient charts, and scan documents into EMR systems.
• Assist onboarding of new providers by gathering scheduling preferences.
• Collaborate with staff and providers to ensure smooth operations.
